
Castel Porziano Natural Reserve
Belonging to the Presidency of the Republic, this uncontaminated part of the Lazio coast was recognized as a state nature reserve in 1999. Bordered towards the sea by the coastal road, the area is mainly wooded, representing the most huge Italian coastal forest. The visit includes: archaeological museum, castle, historic residence and hall of trophies, Church of San Filippo Neri, coffee house and lemon house, historic garden of the Queen with ancient mosaics, rose garden, ancient fountain, carriage exhibition.
